In the 1980's, Harvey would get home from working his full time job to immediately sit down at his dining room table and call potential patients. During this time, his girlfriend Deanna would assist him in making these calls so that he could generate an appropriate business plan. Harvey's goal was to start a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company that specialized in supplying Ostomy and Urological supplies. After many calls and many long nights, his goal turned into his reality.
Fast forward to 2014, their eldest daughter Kelsy had graduated high school and would soon be starting college majoring in General Business. Harvey approached Kelsy, attempting to bring her onboard. Although he was eager to teach her everything, he made it clear that she would not move up in the company if she did not successfully obtain her degree. In which, she did. Because Harvey kept everything in-house at their company, he began to teach her the day-to-day operations, finance and billing procedures, sales and marketing tactics, and most importantly, general management. Throughout these learnings, outside of the company Kelsy obtained an Associates Degree in General Business, a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, and is on her way towards obtaining her Masters Degree in Business Management. Harvey taught her that there's never enough knowledge you can have when it comes to running a business; you will always be learning.

In 2019, Harvey began his "semi-retirement," as he called it. During this time, he cleared the pathway for Kelsy to takeover his role with the support of Deanna. Deanna primarily focused on making the daily courtesy reminder calls to patients, keeping that part of the business running smoothly. Whereas Kelsy took Harvey's place in every managerial role within the company.
The following year, 2020, Harvey took a fall that resulted in an unexpected diagnosis of Lung Cancer that had unfortunately spread to his brain. Deanna had to step up in their home life and Kelsy had to step up at the company. On August 25, 2020, Harvey peacefully passed away in his sleep.
Following his death, Kelsy made it her mission to continue Harvey's legacy; making it her own.
